The coaching staff of Juniors protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Raitin Surco had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Dichomoirion booed when Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raitin Surco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Konstantinos Rapsomanikis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Eleftheropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 11 minutes, Themistoklis Papadaskalopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dichomoirion and the Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Dichomoirion got a freekick which was hit by Themistoklis Papadaskalopoulos. Konstantinos Rapsomanikis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kostas Labakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konstantinos Rapsomanikis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Labakis in the 16th minute of the match. Konstantinos Rapsomanikis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Eleftheropoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Kostas Labakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Giannis Pesmatzoglou fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dichomoirion's protests and gave Giannis Pesmatzoglou a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dichomoirion getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Giannis Pesmatzoglou hit a great ball. Dichomoirion's Konstantinos Rapsomanikis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Labakis in the 34th minute of play. Giannis Diamantidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th match minute, Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niyazi Özarkın to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Juniors's zone, Panos Batsinilas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lambis Giantzis came out of the goal and Panos Batsinilas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viktoras Veletzas to strike the kick off in the second half. Juniors's Lambis Giantzis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alekos Apostolakoglou in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Dichomoirion's Paris Moulos got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Juniors's Kostas Labakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Konstantinos Rapsomanikis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Kostas Labakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 59 minutes into the match, Dichomoirion's goal looked a bit too open when Giannis Diamantidis came free, but Konstantinos Rapsomanikis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Nikos Eleftheropoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dichomoirion the free kick. Lambis Giantzis made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Themistoklis Papadaskalopoulos sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Dichomoirion defense, Kostas Labakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Konstantinos Rapsomanikis. The Dichomoirion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Konstantinos Rapsomanikis should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Nikos Eleftheropoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Eleftheropoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konstantinos Rapsomanikis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, Kostas Labakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Konstantinos Rapsomanikis. Dichomoirion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kostas Labakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 75 minutes into the game, Kostas Labakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paschalis Panagakos kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Giannis Diamantidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Alekos Apostolakoglou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Dichomoirion's goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Labakis came free, but Konstantinos Rapsomanikis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juniors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
