A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Khalazσnion's Nikos Kontodimos pulled a muscle in his back after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 15th minute, Thanos Pelekanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 19 minutes, Christos Marmatakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Péta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christos Marmatakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christos Marmatakis got free with Timos Koufakis in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute Diogenis Koutas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stratos Tsatsarelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diogenis Koutas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diogenis Koutas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Stratos Tsatsarelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christos Marmatakis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Timos Koufakis made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Miltos Lioutas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timos Koufakis was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miltos Lioutas made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Khalazσnion's Kostas Svotzidis got a free kick in the 57th minute. Miltos Lioutas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timos Koufakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. A collision led to Khalazσnion getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Fanis Lyberopoulos hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, Khalazσnion's goal looked a bit too open when Miltos Lioutas came free, but Timos Koufakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Péta got a freekick which was hit by Eleftherios Zigos. Akakios Polichronos hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Diogenis Koutas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Stratos Tsatsarelis made a huge save. In the 94th minute, Giannis Vourtzoumis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Khalazσnion players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Péta from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
