Timos Koufakis came out of the goal and Kostas Labakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kostas Labakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kostas Svotzidis couldn't finish the play. The Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lambis Giantzis should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Khalazσnion's goalkeeper Timos Koufakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niyazi Özarkın. Niyazi Özarkın received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Khalazσnion's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niyazi Özarkın was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5.
