In the 10th match minute, Olympique de Komotini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manos Kanellopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Stavros Bounias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavril Lucrețiu having to interfere. Sofoklis Papakonstantinou struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Gavril Lucrețiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killer Instinct FC. Thomas Tsilikos hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Gavril Lucrețiu came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Killer Instinct FC's Kleon Aggelatos. But to his dismay, Kleon Aggelatos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kleon Aggelatos scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavril Lucrețiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gavril Lucrețiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofoklis Papakonstantinou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stelios Kolitiris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manos Papadopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Gavril Lucrețiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kleon Aggelatos in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Kleon Aggelatos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavril Lucrețiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Dimitris Geronimakis kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Manos Papadopoulos hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kleon Aggelatos in the 40th minute of play forced Olympique de Komotini's goalkeeper Gavril Lucrețiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Killer Instinct FC's Thymios Akrivakis got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kleon Aggelatos was the one to do the kick off. Sofoklis Papakonstantinou was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sofoklis Papakonstantinou who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Gavril Lucrețiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sofoklis Papakonstantinou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sofoklis Papakonstantinou blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavril Lucrețiu having to make a save. Stelios Kolitiris came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique de Komotini's Manos Kanellopoulos. But to his dismay, Manos Kanellopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 74th minute, Konstantinos Antzas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Olympique de Komotini's goalkeeper Gavril Lucrețiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kleon Aggelatos. Killer Instinct FC's Stelios Kolitiris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manos Kanellopoulos in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Killer Instinct FC's Kleon Aggelatos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Olympique de Komotini's Gavril Lucrețiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofoklis Papakonstantinou in the 89th minute of play. Gavril Lucrețiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kleon Aggelatos in the 93rd minute of play. Manos Papadopoulos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stelios Kolitiris having to make a save. The Olympique de Komotini fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Killer Instinct FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
