Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kostas Zouganelis got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Ntinos Katsiabis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evripidis Tsaganos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vassilis Tsartsikidis made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Thanos Voskopoulos sent off a good shot on target. If Lambros Argyrakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Ntinos Katsiabis put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Evripidis Tsaganos. After 11 minutes, Thanos Voskopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lefkópetra BC and the Παναθηναϊκός FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evripidis Tsaganos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kyriakos Tsirimokos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ntinos Katsiabis in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evripidis Tsaganos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Παναθηναϊκός FC's Antonis Chatzakoglou got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute Kostas Zouganelis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vassilis Tsartsikidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Παναθηναϊκός FC's Ntinos Katsiabis in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ntinos Katsiabis made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Lefkópetra BC got a freekick which was hit by Ilias Fragis. Vassilis Tsartsikidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanos Voskopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Lambros Argyrakis charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lambros Argyrakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Παναθηναϊκός FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Lambros Argyrakis hit a great ball. Ntinos Katsiabis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evripidis Tsaganos came out and tried to block the shot, but Ntinos Katsiabis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 64th minute. Vassilis Tsartsikidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kostas Zouganelis in the 67th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Zouganelis in the 71st minute of play forced Παναθηναϊκός FC's goalkeeper Vassilis Tsartsikidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lefkópetra BC's Kostas Zouganelis got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kostas Zouganelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vassilis Tsartsikidis having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Ntinos Katsiabis could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Evripidis Tsaganos however easily saved by the left post. Ntinos Katsiabis kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 80thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Lefkópetra BC's keeper Evripidis Tsaganos was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. With a little luck, Lefkópetra BC's Evripidis Tsaganos got control of the ball when Ntinos Katsiabis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kostas Zouganelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Vassilis Tsartsikidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kostas Zouganelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Thanos Voskopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 94th minute of the match Lambros Argyrakis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lambros Argyrakis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Παναθηναϊκός FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Lambros Argyrakis hit a great ball. Παναθηναϊκός FC's Vassilis Tsartsikidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thanos Voskopoulos in the 96th minute of play. Παναθηναϊκός FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
