In the 10th minute, Apostolos Asimakoglou made a precise shot to the right of Apostolos Stroggilos. Mesoúnta BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Dorotheos Kabolis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mesoúnta BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorotheos Kabolis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giorgos Serelis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Valerios Marselis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Apostolos Stroggilos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valerios Marselis in the 23rd minute of play. Valerios Marselis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Apostolos Stroggilos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Valerios Marselis put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Apostolos Stroggilos. After a defensive mix-up in Mesoúnta BC's zone, Valerios Marselis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apostolos Stroggilos came out of the goal and Valerios Marselis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valerios Marselis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Apostolos Stroggilos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giorgos Serelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aggelos Fasoulas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Kourtési's Apostolos Asimakoglou got a free kick in the 39th minute. Vrasidas Lemonis kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Konstantinos Psichogiopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mesoúnta BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kourtési the free kick. Konstantinos Psichogiopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aggelos Fasoulas to make the kick off. Apostolos Stroggilos made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Valerios Marselis sent off a good shot on target. If Valerios Marselis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kourtési's Panos Kalofolias was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Apostolos Stroggilos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Panos Kalofolias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Apostolos Stroggilos having to make a save. Valerios Marselis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Apostolos Stroggilos made a huge save. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mesoúnta BC's goalkeeper Apostolos Stroggilos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Kourtési booed when Mesoúnta BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstantinos Psichogiopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorotheos Kabolis charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dorotheos Kabolis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Mesoúnta BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorotheos Kabolis to maneuver through the defense. If Valerios Marselis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes of play, Mesoúnta BC's Dorotheos Kabolis made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giorgos Serelis was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Kourtési left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mesoúnta BC.
