Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. It was a well-played corner which Panos Kalofolias managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Valerios Marselis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Charis Grigoroulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amfithιa FC's Akakios Trobetas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Giorgos Serelis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Panos Kalofolias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Kakaronis having to interfere. Valerios Marselis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Ignatios Vrachos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Giorgos Serelis. Ignatios Vrachos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Giannis Kakaronis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valerios Marselis in the 44th minute of the match. Ignatios Vrachos struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Giorgos Serelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amfithιa FC. When Ignatios Vrachos got free in front of the goal in the 47th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Giorgos Serelis was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ignatios Vrachos was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignatios Vrachos in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giorgos Serelis saved Kourtési from getting behind. If Alketas Kamateros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Panos Kalofolias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valerios Marselis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Kakaronis having to interfere. Valerios Marselis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Panos Kalofolias sped through Amfithιa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Giannis Kakaronis. Kourtési's Valerios Marselis got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Amfithιa FC's Akakios Trobetas got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Amfithιa FC's Giannis Kakaronis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panos Kalofolias in the 94th minute of play. Panos Kalofolias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Giannis Kakaronis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kourtési's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
