Eretlí Mahalé FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khalazσnion the free kick. After 9 played minutes Eretlí Mahalé FC got a freekick which was hit by Loukas Katis. Aimilios Vogas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonis Abaris in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Eretlí Mahalé FC's zone, Theofanis Paraschakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aimilios Vogas came out of the goal and Theofanis Paraschakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 played minutes Eretlí Mahalé FC got a freekick which was hit by Loukianos Konstantinou. 16 minutes into the match, Theofanis Paraschakis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aimilios Vogas. Eretlí Mahalé FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Theofanis Paraschakis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Antonis Abaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alkaios Charalambidis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Petros Myroforidis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alkaios Charalambidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Petros Myroforidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Antonis Abaris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aimilios Vogas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theofanis Paraschakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theofanis Paraschakis in the 39th minute of play forced Eretlí Mahalé FC's goalkeeper Aimilios Vogas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alkaios Charalambidis came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Eretlí Mahalé FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alkaios Charalambidis couldn't finish the play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alkaios Charalambidis couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ilias Svotzidis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexis Adamatos during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Khalazσnion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Adamatos to maneuver through the defense. Ilias Svotzidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Michalis Bouratsis hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Theofanis Paraschakis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aimilios Vogas. The goal made the score 0-2. After a rather tough play, Khalazσnion's Alexis Adamatos got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Theofanis Paraschakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aimilios Vogas came out and tried to block the shot, but Theofanis Paraschakis slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 79th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Antonis Abaris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Aimilios Vogas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aimilios Vogas made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Zisis Kontos sent off a good shot on target. Ilias Svotzidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Khalazσnion supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Khalazσnion would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
