Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fotis Valsaris started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Marathia's goal looked a bit too open when Iason Karvouniaris came free, but Sotiris Kouzoulakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marinos Nikoloudis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fotis Valsaris in the 7th minute of the match. Iason Karvouniaris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sotiris Kouzoulakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sotiris Kouzoulakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iason Karvouniaris in the 11th minute of play. Zinon Kazoleas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marinos Nikoloudis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 minutes of play, Kumlν's Takis Kokkinos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sotiris Kouzoulakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iason Karvouniaris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iason Karvouniaris struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Sotiris Kouzoulakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kumlν. Manolis Agapoulis kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 minutes, Takis Kokkinos made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Marathia's Sotiris Kouzoulakis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Iason Karvouniaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotiris Kouzoulakis having to interfere. Iason Karvouniaris's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sotiris Kouzoulakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Takis Kokkinos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Sotiris Kouzoulakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Takis Kokkinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotiris Kouzoulakis having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iason Karvouniaris to strike the kick off in the second half. Fotis Valsaris struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Marinos Nikoloudis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marathia. Takis Kokkinos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Zinon Kazoleas came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Marathia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zinon Kazoleas couldn't finish the play. Marinos Nikoloudis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zinon Kazoleas , who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Sotiris Kouzoulakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iason Karvouniaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Marathia's Manolis Agapoulis got a free kick in the 64th minute. Takis Kokkinos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotiris Kouzoulakis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Akis Zabetakis in the 70th minute of play forced Marathia's goalkeeper Sotiris Kouzoulakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akis Zabetakis hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Kumlν's Akis Zabetakis pulled a muscle in his back after 78 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonis Stratiadis during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kumlν booed when Marathia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonis Stratiadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Sotiris Moschogiannis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sotiris Kouzoulakis skillfully saved the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Marathia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonis Stratiadis to maneuver through the defense.
