Konstantinos Babalis hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Fotis Valsaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Savas Pantelakis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Babbis Valsamidis. Domianoi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Kleon Tsartsikidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Domianoi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kleon Tsartsikidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sotiris Kouzoulakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinos Babalis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kleon Tsartsikidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Marathia defense, Kleon Tsartsikidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sotiris Kouzoulakis. The Marathia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sotiris Kouzoulakis should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nikos Sarris during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Zinon Kazoleas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marathia's supporters rose to their feet, but Zinon Kazoleas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Babbis Valsamidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kleon Tsartsikidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanos Kountouratzis in the 36th minute of play forced Marathia's goalkeeper Sotiris Kouzoulakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute, Kleon Tsartsikidis made a precise shot to the right of Sotiris Kouzoulakis. Marathia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

When Nikos Sarris came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Domianoi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nikos Sarris couldn't finish the play. Sotiris Kouzoulakis was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Kleon Tsartsikidis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kleon Tsartsikidis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Marathia's zone, Konstantinos Babalis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sotiris Kouzoulakis came out of the goal and Konstantinos Babalis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kleon Tsartsikidis in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sotiris Kouzoulakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, Domianoi's goal looked a bit too open when Fotis Valsaris came free, but Babbis Valsamidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sotiris Kouzoulakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kleon Tsartsikidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, one of Domianoi:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Domianoi. In the 98th match minute, Domianoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustratios Konstantinou to maneuver through the defense. Fotis Valsaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Babbis Valsamidis having to interfere. The Domianoi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
