An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaggelos Kefalos in the 42nd minute of play forced Katalonia City FC's goalkeeper Ntinos Papachantzoulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 minutes, Apostolos Kilaidonis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kato Achaia FC and the Katalonia City FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 minutes Kato Achaia FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alexandros Latsios who took care of the corner kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Markos Pseftis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prodromos Perakis having to interfere. Prodromos Perakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markos Pseftis in the 76th minute of play. Apostolis Kritikos scored 3-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ntinos Papachantzoulis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
