With an all-out effort, Vνsantskon BC's Anastasios Xanthis threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Themis Lentis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th match minute, Katsipσdhion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adamantios Giannitsanakis to maneuver through the defense. When Makis Katsigiannis fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Katsipσdhion FC's protests and gave Makis Katsigiannis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Katsipσdhion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makis Katsigiannis to maneuver through the defense. Kosmas Niniadis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manos Tziortzopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The supporters of Katsipσdhion FC booed when Vνsantskon BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akis Togas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Katsipσdhion FC's Anastasios Xanthis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Katsipσdhion FC from getting a goal against them. Nikiforos Zafiriou kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Katsipσdhion FC's goal looked a bit too open when Minas Karkavilas came free, but Anastasios Xanthis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Minas Karkavilas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Manos Tziortzopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Themis Lentis came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Vνsantskon BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Themis Lentis couldn't finish the play. In the 73rdth minute of the game Minas Karkavilas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Katsipσdhion FC's Anastasios Xanthis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Vνsantskon BC's Minas Karkavilas in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasios Xanthis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Anastasios Xanthis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themis Lentis in the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Themis Lentis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vνsantskon BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Themis Lentis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasios Xanthis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the Vνsantskon BC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
