Giorgos Gitsis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stelios Pliagas having to interfere. Andreas Papachantzis struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Theofilos Katsakos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for tsekoyria fc. 17 minutes into the match, Apostolos Adamos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stelios Pliagas. tsekoyria fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apostolos Adamos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Stelios Pliagas came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Karaïskákis's Iason Patistas. But to his dismay, Iason Patistas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Thodoris Vlachopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thodoris Vlachopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, tsekoyria fc's Thodoris Vlachopoulos got a free kick in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes Karaïskákis got a freekick which was hit by Apostolos Adamos. Andreas Papachantzis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Theofilos Katsakos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Filippos Bosis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stelios Pliagas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apostolos Adamos in the 45th minute of the match. When Giorgos Gitsis came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Karaïskákis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgos Gitsis couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andreas Papachantzis was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Karaïskákis's goal looked a bit too open when Filippos Bosis came free, but Theofilos Katsakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lazaros Ioannidis kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Theofilos Katsakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miltiadis Kolokithas in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to tsekoyria fc getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Paschalis Mikes hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the match, tsekoyria fc's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Boulis came free, but Stelios Pliagas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Apostolos Adamos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Apostolos Adamos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Stelios Pliagas, 1-3. Filippos Bosis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Theofilos Katsakos having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giorgos Boulis during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Giorgos Boulis hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Theofilos Katsakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filippos Bosis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The tsekoyria fc supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Karaïskákis's performance. The match ended with a win for Karaïskákis.
