After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Menios Anagnostakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. SITIA F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Menios Anagnostakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanos Sabrakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vaggelis Geronimidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Thanos Sabrakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sirikαri FC's Thanos Sabrakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Sirikαri FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Sirikαri FC's Themos Xanthopoulos got a free kick in the 6th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Vaggelis Geronimidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SITIA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaggelis Geronimidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Vaggelis Geronimidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute of the match Alekos Kalekas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thanos Sabrakos skillfully saved the ball. If Theagenis Nioplias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, SITIA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Themos Xanthopoulos came free, but Sotos Bertsis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ntinos Sakalis came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Sirikαri FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ntinos Sakalis couldn't finish the play. If Eugenios Pavlakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giannis Bourantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanos Sabrakos having to interfere. Menios Anagnostakis really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Thanos Sabrakos came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by SITIA F.C.'s Eugenios Pavlakos. But to his dismay, Eugenios Pavlakos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Thanos Sabrakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Menios Anagnostakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Christos Tsimilis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eugenios Pavlakos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Sirikαri FC booed when SITIA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Hats didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute, Menios Anagnostakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SITIA F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Sotos Bertsis was a little too slow when Stergios Theodoridis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 4-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SITIA F.C. had played much better football throughout.
