Menios Anagnostakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanos Sabrakos having to interfere. Celestino Hats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Thanos Sabrakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 10 minutes, Menios Anagnostakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SITIA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Menios Anagnostakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When SITIA F.C.'s Menios Anagnostakis in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. SITIA F.C.'s Eugenios Pavlakos got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 25 played minutes Sirikαri FC got a freekick which was hit by Theagenis Nioplias. If Menios Anagnostakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Celestino Hats was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SITIA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sirikαri FC the free kick. After 30 played minutes SITIA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Hats. Sotos Bertsis made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Theagenis Nioplias sent off a good shot on target. When Menios Anagnostakis, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Thanos Sabrakos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Alexis Kouklakis kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ntinos Sakalis in the 39th minute of play forced SITIA F.C.'s goalkeeper Sotos Bertsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sirikαri FC's Christos Tsimilis got a free kick in the 44th minute. SITIA F.C.'s Sotos Bertsis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save SITIA F.C. from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Menios Anagnostakis to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ntinos Sakalis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sotos Bertsis. SITIA F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ntinos Sakalis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After a rather tough play, Sirikαri FC's Tilemachos Andreadakis got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Menios Anagnostakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Hats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The long shot by Lakis Vasilakis in the 63rd minute really tested Thanos Sabrakos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Thanasis Vezirgiannis's late challenge caught a SITIA F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thanasis Vezirgiannis helped the player get up and apologised. 68 minutes into the game, one of Sirikαri FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alekos Kalekas during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SITIA F.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Alekos Kalekas hit a great ball. After 78 minutes, Menios Anagnostakis made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Sirikαri FC's Thanos Sabrakos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot by Lakis Vasilakis from long distance, 83 minutes into the match, got Thanos Sabrakos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 89th minute, Celestino Hats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theagenis Nioplias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Sotos Bertsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sirikαri FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SITIA F.C. had controlled the match.
