Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Spartans fc's Fu Qiang Jian started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 7 minutes, Fu Qiang Jian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartans fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fu Qiang Jian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, Stefanos Geropanagiotis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Kavαlos FC's zone, Fu Qiang Jian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kostas Rodis came out of the goal and Fu Qiang Jian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Kavαlos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Panos Astaris came free, but Kostas Rodis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Fu Qiang Jian sped through Kavαlos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kostas Rodis. In the 18th minute Estevez Tamajon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Rodis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Spartans fc's Serafim Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petros Negris in the 19th minute of play. Spartans fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Petros Negris scored to the left of an out of position Serafim Coutinho, making the score, 1-1. Fu Qiang Jian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Stelios Karatasos came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Spartans fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stelios Karatasos couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Fu Qiang Jian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute Panos Astaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Rodis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Kavαlos FC booed when Spartans fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estevez Tamajon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Estevez Tamajon took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kostas Rodis. Kostas Rodis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Kostas Rodis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stelios Karatasos, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Fu Qiang Jian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kostas Rodis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Spartans fc's Estevez Tamajon got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fu Qiang Jian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kostas Rodis having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Petros Negris was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Panos Astaris made a precise shot to the right of Kostas Rodis. Kavαlos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Panos Astaris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fu Qiang Jian had several of the Kavαlos FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Kostas Rodis as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kostas Rodis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Estevez Tamajon in the 59th minute of the match. Kostas Rodis came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Spartans fc's Fu Qiang Jian. But to his dismay, Fu Qiang Jian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Stelios Karatasos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Petros Negris was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kavαlos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spartans fc the free kick. After 65 played minutes Kavαlos FC got a freekick which was hit by Petros Negris. Fu Qiang Jian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Rodis having to interfere. Spartans fc's Vaggelis Soulidis was substituted for Stelios Karatasos. Kostas Rodis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fu Qiang Jian in the 72nd minute of play. Spartans fc's Fu Qiang Jian got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giannis Chatzivrettas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Kostas Rodis made a huge save. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kavαlos FC's goalkeeper Kostas Rodis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Kavαlos FC's Kostas Rodis got control of the ball when Giannis Chatzivrettas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Kavαlos FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vaggelis Soulidis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Giannis Chatzivrettas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Rodis having to interfere. Kostas Rodis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giannis Chatzivrettas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute of the match Panos Astaris shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kostas Rodis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Giannis Chatzivrettas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vaggelis Soulidis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kostas Rodis came out and tried to block the shot, but Vaggelis Soulidis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 95th minute. The Kavαlos FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Spartans fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
