Spectators: 6741 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 0) Pipilνsta FC's Christos Koufopoulos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ntinos Podaras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lárisa BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ntinos Podaras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efthimis Georgeas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nasos Sarafidis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 17th playminute. Christos Koufopoulos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thymios Kazanas came out and tried to block the shot, but Christos Koufopoulos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute, Christos Koufopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 played minutes Pipilνsta FC got a freekick which was hit by Stamatis Kapelas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermis Vrachnos in the 45th minute of play forced Pipilνsta FC's goalkeeper Efthimis Georgeas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermis Vrachnos was the one to do the kick off. Ntinos Podaras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Efthimis Georgeas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ntinos Podaras in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute of the match, Ermis Vrachnos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Efthimis Georgeas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. During the 64th minute of the match Stamatis Kapelas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Stamatis Kapelas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 65 played minutes Pipilνsta FC got a freekick which was hit by Stamatis Kapelas. After a defensive mix-up in Pipilνsta FC's zone, Ntinos Podaras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efthimis Georgeas came out of the goal and Ntinos Podaras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ntinos Podaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stratos Roussounelos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Efthimis Georgeas having to make a save. Ntinos Podaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efthimis Georgeas having to interfere. After having played for 73 minutes, Stratos Roussounelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lárisa BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stratos Roussounelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ntinos Podaras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Efthimis Georgeas made a huge save. When Stratos Roussounelos came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Lárisa BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stratos Roussounelos couldn't finish the play. If Ntinos Podaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stratos Roussounelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ntinos Podaras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Efthimis Georgeas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Omiros Papalexiou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ntinos Podaras who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Efthimis Georgeas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Pipilνsta FC's Efthimis Georgeas got control of the ball when Ntinos Podaras tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Pipilνsta FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Lárisa BC for much of the match.
