Spectators: 7447 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Makis Liberis got the match started through his kick off. Π.Α.Ο.Κ's Stavros Markonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fondas Kalafatis in the 4th minute of play. Miltos Tabakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Grevenνta's goal looked a bit too open when Ignatios Missiakos came free, but Sotos Lagizos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grevenνta's Sotos Lagizos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Grevenνta from getting a goal against them. Makis Liberis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Stavros Markonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stavros Markonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makis Liberis in the 34th minute of play. Fondas Kalafatis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stavros Markonis having to make a save. Stavros Markonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Makis Liberis, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fondas Kalafatis in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stavros Markonis saved Π.Α.Ο.Κ from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ignatios Missiakos made a kick off. Fondas Kalafatis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Makis Liberis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 66 minutes, Fondas Kalafatis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grevenνta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fondas Kalafatis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Miltos Tabakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Grevenνta's Makis Liberis got a free kick in the 73rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Grevenνta's Makis Liberis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stavros Markonis. That made the score 1-1 after 76 minutes of play. Makis Liberis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Stavros Markonis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fondas Kalafatis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Makis Liberis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stavros Markonis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Grevenνta's Fondas Kalafatis was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 92nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ignatios Missiakos kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Grevenνta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
