Afrodisiakos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kleon Paraschakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Panagiotis Stefanou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gavros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lefteris Giotatos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Themos Stavrakis fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gavros's protests and gave Themos Stavrakis a yellow card for diving instead. Lefteris Giotatos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kleon Paraschakis went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Afrodisiakos FC booed when Gavros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Themos Stavrakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kleon Paraschakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lefteris Giotatos having to make a save. Dimitris Kazantzoulis's late challenge caught a Afrodisiakos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitris Kazantzoulis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gavros getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dimitris Kazantzoulis hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute, Kleon Paraschakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Afrodisiakos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Grigoris Labriakos stood somewhat misplaced when Apostolos Kermelidis came free in front of goal and shot 3-3 to the left of him in the 80 minute. With his leg Grigoris Labriakos managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Gavros's Panagiotis Stefanou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 90 minutes into the match, Afrodisiakos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Panagiotis Stefanou came free, but Grigoris Labriakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gavros's zone, Takis Kastanakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lefteris Giotatos came out of the goal and Takis Kastanakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 97 played minutes Afrodisiakos FC got a freekick which was hit by Makis Argyriadis. A hard shot by Fivos Pansos from long distance, 98 minutes into the match, got Grigoris Labriakos's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
