If Zacharias Trobetas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Demis Theotokatos fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mpemphdes Syrou's protests and gave Demis Theotokatos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd match minute, Mpemphdes Syrou was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demis Theotokatos to maneuver through the defense. Sakis Mitrofanis might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cedric Latomme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fragiskos Zacharioudakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nuno Flores received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Cedric Latomme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sakis Mitrofanis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Cedric Latomme made a huge save. Demis Theotokatos hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Mpemphdes Syrou's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Flores was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zacharias Trobetas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Demis Zagorakis hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Prodromos Stafilas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zacharias Trobetas, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Sakis Mitrofanis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Cedric Latomme made a huge save.
