Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Thalis Katsimichas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Kois having to interfere. After 13 played minutes Cosa Nostra got a freekick which was hit by Daniil Poulogiannis. The supporters of Soumesion BC booed when Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alketas Batakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Thalis Katsimichas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soumesion BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thalis Katsimichas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th match minute, Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alketas Batakis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thalis Katsimichas in the 21st minute of play forced Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Markos Kois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Cosa Nostra's Markos Kois got control of the ball when Kostas Gaitanakos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Thalis Katsimichas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cosa Nostra's Markos Kois was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Thalis Katsimichas took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Markos Kois to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Soumesion BC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nestoras Vernikos hit a great ball. In the 42nd match minute, Cosa Nostra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktoras Panagiotopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Kostas Gaitanakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Kois having to interfere. Stratos Tsirigidis's late challenge caught a Cosa Nostra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stratos Tsirigidis helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Soumesion BC got a freekick which was hit by Stratos Tsirigidis. Odysseas Kaloutas charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Odysseas Kaloutas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Soumesion BC! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thalis Katsimichas made a kick off. Kostas Gaitanakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Cosa Nostra getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Viktoras Panagiotopoulos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thalis Katsimichas in the 58th minute of play forced Cosa Nostra's goalkeeper Markos Kois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sotos Maratopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sotos Maratopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markos Kois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thalis Katsimichas in the 67th minute of the match. Thalis Katsimichas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sotos Maratopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Sokratis Spetsarias made a huge save. Themistoklis Nioras kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Markos Kois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thalis Katsimichas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Markos Kois didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kostas Gaitanakos went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Cosa Nostra's zone, Thalis Katsimichas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Markos Kois came out of the goal and Thalis Katsimichas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kostas Gaitanakos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Markos Kois having to make a save. In the 88th minute, Thalis Katsimichas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Markos Kois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thalis Katsimichas in the 92nd minute of play. Kostas Gaitanakos might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Markos Kois. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kostas Gaitanakos ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, Cosa Nostra's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Katsimichas came free, but Markos Kois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 minutes, Alketas Batakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cosa Nostra and the Soumesion BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Soumesion BC booed when Cosa Nostra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alketas Batakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kostas Gaitanakos came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Soumesion BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kostas Gaitanakos couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Soumesion BC had played much better football throughout.
