Eugenios Theodorakoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Andreas Kyritsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When TOPMUG - Alatσpetra's Carl Nordgren in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Π.Α.Σ ΓΙΑΝΝΙΝΑ booed when TOPMUG - Alatσpetra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Kyritsis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alketas Kotsanakis hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. If Andreas Kyritsis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 58th minute, Sofoklis Tsigaridas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andreas Kyritsis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Pedersson having to interfere. Carl Nordgrens short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Ulf Pedersson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 65th minute, Π.Α.Σ ΓΙΑΝΝΙΝΑ's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Sofoklis Tsigaridas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Andreas Kyritsis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Π.Α.Σ ΓΙΑΝΝΙΝΑ's goalkeeper Ulf Pedersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sofoklis Tsigaridas. Vaggelis Fotoulis's late challenge caught a TOPMUG - Alatσpetra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vaggelis Fotoulis helped the player get up and apologised. Thanasis Mantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulf Pedersson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sofoklis Tsigaridas in the 82nd minute. Carl Nordgren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Ulf Pedersson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 93 played minutes Carl Nordgren rounded Π.Α.Σ ΓΙΑΝΝΙΝΑ's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Carl Nordgren sped through Π.Α.Σ ΓΙΑΝΝΙΝΑ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulf Pedersson. The Π.Α.Σ ΓΙΑΝΝΙΝΑ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. TOPMUG - Alatσpetra were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
