Tasos Valassoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Kyritsis in the 28th minute of the match. Katopatissia's Christos Banakos got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simos Skaltsas struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 69th minute of the match, Sofoklis Tsigaridas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tasos Valassoglou was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 69 minutes into the game, Simos Skaltsas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Katopatissia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TOPMUG - Alatσpetra the free kick. A collision led to Katopatissia getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Christos Banakos sped through TOPMUG - Alatσpetra's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aimilios Leontakis. Aimilios Leontakis came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Katopatissia's Christos Banakos. But to his dismay, Christos Banakos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 82 minutes into the game, Sofoklis Tsigaridas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Tasos Valassoglou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the match, Katopatissia's Christos Banakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aimilios Leontakis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Simos Skaltsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Christos Banakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aimilios Leontakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th match minute, TOPMUG - Alatσpetra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evripidis Damianos to maneuver through the defense. TOPMUG - Alatσpetra's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
