The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Evripidis Kasselakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. In the 35th minute, Ladhokhorion's Argyris Vahanelidis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kostas Kazantzakoglou. Kostas Kazantzakoglou yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 41 minutes into the match, mpookles's Giannis Voutsinas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paraskevas Kargakos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute Giannis Voutsinas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paraskevas Kargakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Ladhokhorion's Paraskevas Kargakos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Ladhokhorion from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evripidis Kasselakis in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kostas Kazantzakoglou saved mpookles from getting behind. Nikos Balanikas kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Nasos Karagiannakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lakis Vamvakeris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paraskevas Kargakos having to interfere. Evripidis Kasselakis struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Kostas Kazantzakoglou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ladhokhorion. If Evripidis Kasselakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lakis Vamvakeris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladhokhorion were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing mpookles to leave the ground with a draw.
