If Panos Adamos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Chrisostomos Kounalakis fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Imera BC's protests and gave Chrisostomos Kounalakis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Imera BC booed when Litheres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sofoklis Koutsoukos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute, Giannis Karousakis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Litheres's Giannis Adamopoulos didn't even have to move. With an all-out effort, Imera BC's Giannis Adamopoulos threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Panagiotis Christou, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 60 played minutes, Litheres's Lakis Kappos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Petros Kalianiotis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Litheres reached it. Petros Kalianiotis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Errikos Bousios, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Kostas Gianniotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Adamopoulos having to interfere. Kostas Gianniotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Panos Adamos put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Petros Kalianiotis. Giannis Karousakis ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 89thth minute of the game Panagiotis Christou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Litheres's Giannis Adamopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kostas Gianniotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Giannis Adamopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Imera BC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Litheres.
