Apostolikas Karasavvidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theocharis Nikolopoulos in the 10th minute of play. Paraskevas Platis scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apostolikas Karasavvidis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Apostolikas Karasavvidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Theocharis Nikolopoulos's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Polichnνtos BC's Apostolikas Karasavvidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Perakakis in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Paraskevas Platis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apostolikas Karasavvidis. Polichnνtos BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paraskevas Platis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Polichnνtos BC's Apostolikas Karasavvidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theocharis Nikolopoulos in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mandαlovon FC's Babbis Perakakis got a free kick in the 25th minute. Babbis Perakakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apostolikas Karasavvidis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. If Theocharis Nikolopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apostolikas Karasavvidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theocharis Nikolopoulos in the 35th minute of play. Theocharis Nikolopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Apostolikas Karasavvidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Perakakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mandαlovon FC's Theocharis Nikolopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Theocharis Nikolopoulos's late challenge caught a Polichnνtos BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theocharis Nikolopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mandαlovon FC's Theocharis Nikolopoulos got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Babbis Perakakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mandαlovon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babbis Perakakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apostolikas Karasavvidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theocharis Nikolopoulos in the 46th minute of the match. Babbis Perakakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Apostolikas Karasavvidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Theocharis Nikolopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mandαlovon FC booed when Polichnνtos BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miltos Egomitis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Babbis Perakakis got free with Apostolikas Karasavvidis in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Apostolikas Karasavvidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theocharis Nikolopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Apostolikas Karasavvidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theocharis Nikolopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Panos Papadimitropoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polichnνtos BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mandαlovon FC the free kick. In the 73rd minute, Theocharis Nikolopoulos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Apostolikas Karasavvidis. Polichnνtos BC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Theocharis Nikolopoulos 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. After a rather tough play, Mandαlovon FC's Theocharis Nikolopoulos got a free kick in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Polichnνtos BC's Apostolikas Karasavvidis got control of the ball when Babbis Perakakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apostolikas Karasavvidis came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Mandαlovon FC's Babbis Perakakis. But to his dismay, Babbis Perakakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. If Babbis Perakakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The attack was good, but when Theocharis Nikolopoulos in the 93rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Babbis Perakakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paraskevas Platis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apostolikas Karasavvidis having to interfere.
