Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marathσpoli BC's Ermis Koboroziadis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot 6 in the game by Christos Papaggelatos from a close distance when the talented Pavlos Tzevelekos managed to make a qualified save. Marathσpoli BC's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Marathσpoli BC's zone, Koulis Papatheodorou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavlos Tzevelekos came out of the goal and Koulis Papatheodorou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valerios Strevlos's late challenge caught a Dhiafαnion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valerios Strevlos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Marathσpoli BC's Valerios Strevlos got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Makis Dimakos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Marathσpoli BC's Pavlos Tzevelekos didn't even have to move. Vassilis Dabizas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Pavlos Tzevelekos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Pavlos Tzevelekos managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Dhiafαnion's Christos Papaggelatos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermis Koboroziadis in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aggelos Paparas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pavlos Tzevelekos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Papaggelatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Koulis Papatheodorou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aggelos Paparas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermis Koboroziadis in the 32nd minute of the match. Kostas Kalogirou struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Aggelos Paparas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marathσpoli BC. Marathσpoli BC's Pavlos Tzevelekos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Marathσpoli BC from getting a goal against them. If Koulis Papatheodorou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pavlos Tzevelekos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koulis Papatheodorou, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. If Stelios Athanasopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Koulis Papatheodorou to strike the kick off in the second half. Pavlos Tzevelekos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Papaggelatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Adamantios Sakalakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 minutes of play, Dhiafαnion's Koulis Papatheodorou made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pavlos Tzevelekos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aggelos Paparas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermis Koboroziadis in the 82nd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Dhiafαnion's goalkeeper Aggelos Paparas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adamantios Sakalakis. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Christos Papaggelatos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dhiafαnion's supporters rose to their feet, but Christos Papaggelatos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavlos Tzevelekos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Koulis Papatheodorou came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Dhiafαnion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koulis Papatheodorou couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Dhiafαnion booed when Marathσpoli BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valerios Strevlos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Makis Dimakos, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 96th minute, Christos Papaggelatos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Dhiafαnion players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
