Spectators: 7496 (Terracing: 5623, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Themistoklis Prattis kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, Menidi City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akis Vrisimitzakis to maneuver through the defense. Christos Roditis's late challenge caught a Menidi City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christos Roditis helped the player get up and apologised. After 4 played minutes BRAVE LIONS got a freekick which was hit by Christos Roditis. Menidi City's Giannis Akrivos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Menidi City from getting a goal against them. Zisis Kazantzas charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zisis Kazantzas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Thymios Logothetis came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Menidi City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thymios Logothetis couldn't finish the play. Ignatios Tsioufis charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignatios Tsioufis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Menidi City getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ignatios Tsioufis hit a great ball. Zisis Kazantzas hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When Thymios Logothetis came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Menidi City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thymios Logothetis couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd match minute, Menidi City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignatios Tsioufis to maneuver through the defense. BRAVE LIONS's Ignatios Natsouras couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Menidi City. Themistoklis Prattis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, BRAVE LIONS's Themistoklis Tzavelas got a free kick in the 38th minute. Thymios Logothetis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Nikos Michail made the kick off in the second half. Nikos Michail struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Giannis Akrivos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BRAVE LIONS. Thrasivoulos Tsopelas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nikos Michail sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Thrasivoulos Tsopelas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute Themistoklis Prattis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kostas Kapsis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thymios Logothetis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kostas Kapsis having to interfere. Thymios Logothetis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Kostas Kapsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Panagiotis Kaloumenos charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Panagiotis Kaloumenos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Menidi City got a freekick which was hit by Panagiotis Kaloumenos. Giannis Akrivos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thrasivoulos Tsopelas in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Thrasivoulos Tsopelas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Giannis Akrivos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Thymios Logothetis took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kostas Kapsis. Kostas Kapsis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Menidi City had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
