Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pantelis Softis started the match with the kick off. Ntinos Agapidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermis Koboroziadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ntinos Agapidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Glikoneri getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Alkaios Valeras hit a great ball. Kostas Kalogirou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ntinos Tselios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Marathσpoli BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermis Koboroziadis to maneuver through the defense. Kostas Kalogirou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Ermis Koboroziadis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermis Koboroziadis in the 37th minute of play forced Glikoneri's goalkeeper Ntinos Tselios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alkaios Valeras fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glikoneri's protests and gave Alkaios Valeras a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Glikoneri got a freekick which was hit by Alkaios Valeras. The crowd rose to their feet as Pantelis Softis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pavlos Tzevelekos. That made the score 2-0 in the 44 minute of play. In the 47th minute, Pantelis Softis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ermis Koboroziadis was the one to do the kick off. Pantelis Softis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 minutes of play, Glikoneri's Pantelis Softis made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pavlos Tzevelekos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute Ermis Koboroziadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ntinos Tselios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavlos Tzevelekos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ntinos Agapidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. When Christos Makrodimitris fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marathσpoli BC's protests and gave Christos Makrodimitris a yellow card for diving instead. Ntinos Agapidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ntinos Tselios made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Kostas Kalogirou sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute Marathσpoli BC were awarded a corner. Stefanos Karapapas went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 93rd minute Pantelis Softis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavlos Tzevelekos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ntinos Agapidis came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Glikoneri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ntinos Agapidis couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Marathσpoli BC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Glikoneri.
