When Ekklisia BC's Dimitris Karanikas in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TOPMUG-ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΥΡΟΥ's goalie prevented a goal. Charis Katsanis kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Charis Karagiannis sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Kleon Dalianas threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Charis Karagiannis this time. Giannis Sapounidis's late challenge caught a Ekklisia BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giannis Sapounidis helped the player get up and apologised. Giannis Sapounidis kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Nikos Karagiannis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Andreas Mazarakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dimitris Karanikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikos Karagiannis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Mazarakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Ekklisia BC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Leonidas Keskeridis hit a great ball. Minas Kopelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes into the match, TOPMUG-ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΥΡΟΥ's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Karagiannis came free, but Andreas Mazarakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Minas Kopelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Minas Kopelis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kleon Dalianas having to interfere. Kleon Dalianas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christos Kostaras's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Andreas Mazarakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dimitris Karanikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Christos Kostaras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Kleon Dalianas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitris Karanikas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dimitris Karanikas took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andreas Mazarakis. Andreas Mazarakis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christos Kostaras to make the kick off. Kleon Dalianas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Kostaras in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, TOPMUG-ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΥΡΟΥ's Christos Kostaras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kleon Dalianas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Andreas Mazarakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nikos Karagiannis in the 70th minute of play. After a rather tough play, TOPMUG-ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΥΡΟΥ's Thrasivoulos Peponas got a free kick in the 70th minute. Andreas Mazarakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nikos Karagiannis in the 75th minute of the match. Nikos Karagiannis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Ekklisia BC's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Kostaras came free, but Kleon Dalianas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charis Katsanis kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Nikos Karagiannis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Minas Kopelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of TOPMUG-ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΥΡΟΥ booed when Ekklisia BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonidas Keskeridis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
