Thanos Soulogiannis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Nikola Tesla made a huge save. Anthimos Stasinopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Vovousa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Themistoklis Papafotis came free, but Viktoras Fotopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, MakaroniaMeKima F.C's Themistoklis Papafotis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viktoras Fotopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Vovousa FC's zone, Themistoklis Papafotis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viktoras Fotopoulos came out of the goal and Themistoklis Papafotis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Themistoklis Papafotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Themistoklis Papafotis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MakaroniaMeKima F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Nikola Tesla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petros Velakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute Themistoklis Papafotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viktoras Fotopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nikos Pikrakis during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Themistoklis Papafotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petros Velakis to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Ermis Kalakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vovousa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MakaroniaMeKima F.C the free kick. Loukas Kokkalis struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Viktoras Fotopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MakaroniaMeKima F.C. The attack was good, but when Themistoklis Papafotis in the 55th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Themistoklis Papafotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Viktoras Fotopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MakaroniaMeKima F.C's Fotis Tsiamitras got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikola Tesla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thanos Soulogiannis in the 65th minute of the match. Viktoras Fotopoulos was a little too slow when Elvin Ali got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-3. MakaroniaMeKima F.C's Elvin Ali got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Viktoras Fotopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themistoklis Papafotis in the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 minutes of play Vovousa FC's Nikos Pikrakis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 76th minute, Themistoklis Papafotis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 81 played minutes Vovousa FC got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Paridis. After having played for 86 minutes, Fotis Tsiamitras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MakaroniaMeKima F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fotis Tsiamitras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nikola Tesla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thanos Soulogiannis, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Nikola Tesla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thanos Soulogiannis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanos Soulogiannis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikola Tesla having to interfere.
