When Themistoklis Papafotis came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the MakaroniaMeKima F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Themistoklis Papafotis couldn't finish the play. The supporters of spiders booed when MakaroniaMeKima F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvin Ali didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikos Vitalis struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Nikola Tesla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for spiders. If Nikos Vitalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes MakaroniaMeKima F.C got a freekick which was hit by Fotis Tsiamitras. Themistoklis Papafotis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menios Pantazakos having to interfere. Nikos Vitalis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Nikola Tesla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Vitalis in the 32nd minute of play forced MakaroniaMeKima F.C's goalkeeper Nikola Tesla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes in the game, Nikos Vitalis fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nikola Tesla having to interfere. If Themistoklis Papafotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute, Themistoklis Papafotis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Menios Pantazakos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 44 minutes into the match, spiders's goal looked a bit too open when Themistoklis Papafotis came free, but Menios Pantazakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Themistoklis Papafotis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Fotis Tsiamitras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MakaroniaMeKima F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fotis Tsiamitras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute of the match, Themistoklis Papafotis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Menios Pantazakos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 57th minute, Elvin Ali got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Menios Pantazakos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 59th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Nikos Vitalis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Nikola Tesla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Themistoklis Papafotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MakaroniaMeKima F.C's Nikola Tesla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Vitalis in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Vitalis in the 71st minute of play forced MakaroniaMeKima F.C's goalkeeper Nikola Tesla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktoras Dermitzoglou hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Themistoklis Papafotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Menios Pantazakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Menios Pantazakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elvin Ali's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Nikola Tesla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Vitalis, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 83rd minute Evaggelos Karabelas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Pantazakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menios Pantazakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themistoklis Papafotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in spiders's zone, Elvin Ali stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Menios Pantazakos came out of the goal and Elvin Ali tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Themistoklis Papafotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Menios Pantazakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Menios Pantazakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themistoklis Papafotis in the 94th minute of the match. If Evaggelos Karabelas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The spiders fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. MakaroniaMeKima F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
