Charalambos Agathakoglou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to MakaroniaMeKima F.C getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Loukas Kokkalis hit a great ball. In the 12th minute of the match Giannis Xenidis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nikola Tesla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th match minute, MakaroniaMeKima F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fotis Tsiamitras to maneuver through the defense. Charalambos Agathakoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themistoklis Papafotis in the 16th minute of play. If Themistoklis Papafotis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orestis Iakovakos in the 21st minute of play forced MakaroniaMeKima F.C's goalkeeper Nikola Tesla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Orestis Iakovakos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nikola Tesla. Orestis Iakovakos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themistoklis Papafotis in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charalambos Agathakoglou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute Orestis Iakovakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikola Tesla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charalambos Agathakoglou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themistoklis Papafotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Apollonνa's Orestis Iakovakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikola Tesla narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute Themistoklis Papafotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charalambos Agathakoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charalambos Agathakoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fotis Tsiamitras in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Themistoklis Papafotis notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Apollonνa's Charalambos Agathakoglou. Charalambos Agathakoglou was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 46 played minutes MakaroniaMeKima F.C got a freekick which was hit by Theagenis Bachramis. The audience was convinced that Orestis Iakovakos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikola Tesla was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Nikola Tesla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thodoris Sachinidis in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orestis Iakovakos in the 64th minute of play forced MakaroniaMeKima F.C's goalkeeper Nikola Tesla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Orestis Iakovakos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apollonνa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orestis Iakovakos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apollonνa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Giannis Xenidis in the 67th minute. Apollonνa's Giannis Xenidis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nikola Tesla in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Apollonνa were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after MakaroniaMeKima F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Giannis Xenidis took the corner. In the 80th minute Orestis Iakovakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikola Tesla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charalambos Agathakoglou made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Themistoklis Papafotis sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 84 minutes, Fotis Tsiamitras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MakaroniaMeKima F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fotis Tsiamitras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Themistoklis Papafotis took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Charalambos Agathakoglou to make any attempt to save it. The attack was good, but when Fotis Tsiamitras in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. MakaroniaMeKima F.C's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
