When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Vrasidas Skalakis sped through spiders's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Menios Pantazakos. In the 16th minute, Vrasidas Skalakis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Menios Pantazakos, passed just outside the right post. The audience was convinced that Giotis Pantelis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Menios Pantazakos was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 35th match minute, spiders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestoras Iatridis to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes Sinνkhovon got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Lund. Menios Pantazakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giotis Pantelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. If Giotis Pantelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Menios Pantazakos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Giotis Pantelis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 47 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giotis Pantelis made a kick off. After 57 minutes, Nestoras Iatridis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the spiders and the Sinνkhovon players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Nestoras Iatridis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vrasidas Skalakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Menios Pantazakos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Menios Pantazakos came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Sinνkhovon's Vrasidas Skalakis. But to his dismay, Vrasidas Skalakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 70th minute of the match Mihail Boeru sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Menios Pantazakos skillfully saved the ball. Menios Pantazakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giotis Pantelis in the 72nd minute of the match. Vrasidas Skalakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sinνkhovon's Vrasidas Skalakis got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nestoras Iatridis hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 83 played minutes spiders got a freekick which was hit by Lakis Kostarakis. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marinos Negris during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sinνkhovon's Vrasidas Skalakis got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Menios Pantazakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vrasidas Skalakis in the 96th minute of the match. If Giotis Pantelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sinνkhovon fully deserved thier win.
