Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dimitris Kapetanopoulos made the kick off and thus started the match. Giannis Chatzipetris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thalis Tsitouras, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Vladimiros Anagnostopoulos hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match Charis Anastasiou sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Michalis Rakkas skillfully saved the ball. After 13 played minutes Astakσs got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiros Anagnostopoulos. Michalis Rakkas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aris Pilafis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Giorgos Vogiatzis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michalis Rakkas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giannis Chatzipetris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thalis Tsitouras went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Stamatis Giannou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aris Pilafis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Michalis Rakkas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thalis Tsitouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aris Pilafis to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Sandhαli BC's Aris Pilafis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Michalis Rakkas. That made the score 2-2 after 53 minutes of play. Giorgos Vogiatzis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Michalis Rakkas made a huge save. Vladimiros Anagnostopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 65 minutes, Thalis Tsitouras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Astakσs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thalis Tsitouras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Giorgos Vogiatzis came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Sandhαli BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgos Vogiatzis couldn't finish the play. Michalis Rakkas was a little too slow when Aris Pilafis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 2-3. 75 minutes into the match, Sandhαli BC's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Tsitouras came free, but Giannis Chatzipetris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Astakσs got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiros Anagnostopoulos. Astakσs's Michalis Rakkas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Astakσs from getting a goal against them. After 84 played minutes Astakσs got a freekick which was hit by Nontas Okkas. In the 89thth minute of the game Thalis Tsitouras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sandhαli BC's Giannis Chatzipetris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thalis Tsitouras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute, Giorgos Vogiatzis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The Sandhαli BC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sandhαli BC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
