With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thalis Tsitouras in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zacharias Bougatsakis saved Bayern Munchen FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Thalis Tsitouras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zacharias Bougatsakis was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 16thth minute of the game Thalis Tsitouras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bayern Munchen FC's Zacharias Bougatsakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Thalis Tsitouras sped through Bayern Munchen FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zacharias Bougatsakis. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dimitris Kapetanopoulos to make the kick off. Emmanouil Darlas hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Thalis Tsitouras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Astakσs's supporters rose to their feet, but Thalis Tsitouras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacharias Bougatsakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Panos Tzanetoulakos fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayern Munchen FC's protests and gave Panos Tzanetoulakos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bayern Munchen FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Panos Tzanetoulakos hit a great ball. Dimitris Kapetanopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dimitris Kapetanopoulos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 81 minutes into the match, Bayern Munchen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Kapetanopoulos came free, but Zacharias Bougatsakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thalis Tsitouras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanasis Kapsalakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dimitris Kapetanopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thalis Tsitouras in the 92ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zacharias Bougatsakis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Astakσs played a much better game than Bayern Munchen FC and deserved their victory. The Bayern Munchen FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
