Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 11 minutes into the match, RODOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Kabolis came free, but Mikolaj Bryk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Xarilaou United's zone, Petros Kapetanos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nontas Konstantakis came out of the goal and Petros Kapetanos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Xarilaou United getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Paris Giannakoulis hit a great ball. After 23 played minutes Xarilaou United got a freekick which was hit by Paris Giannakoulis. After a defensive mix-up in Xarilaou United's zone, Akakios Baboulas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nontas Konstantakis came out of the goal and Akakios Baboulas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 30th minute Petros Kapetanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nontas Konstantakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petros Kapetanos was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. RODOS FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Xarilaou United's Panagiotis Balodimos got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mikolaj Bryk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Panagiotis Balodimos went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Nontas Konstantakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Akakios Baboulas in the 42nd minute. Thomas Kabolis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikolaj Bryk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind RODOS FC's goalkeeper Mikolaj Bryk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Nikos Bosinakis fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Xarilaou United's protests and gave Nikos Bosinakis a yellow card for diving instead. Nikos Bosinakis kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Akakios Baboulas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nontas Konstantakis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Kapetanos in the 61st minute of play forced Xarilaou United's goalkeeper Nontas Konstantakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akakios Baboulas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 67 minutes, Kostas Pontikakis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RODOS FC and the Xarilaou United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th match minute, RODOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kostas Pontikakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Kostas Pontikakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Kabolis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Petros Kapetanos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Petros Kapetanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to RODOS FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Christos Laliotis hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, RODOS FC's goalkeeper Mikolaj Bryk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panagiotis Balodimos. RODOS FC's Akakios Baboulas got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xarilaou United's Nontas Konstantakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Pontikakis in the 95th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Mikolaj Bryk successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
