After a defensive mix-up in Elefthéri's zone, Rik Arnolds stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Odysseas Kalapodas came out of the goal and Rik Arnolds tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vaggelis Traboukidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rik Arnolds got free with Odysseas Kalapodas in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Odysseas Kalapodas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilias Mitrakis in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Rik Arnolds managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kokkinokhσrion BC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rik Arnolds was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Odysseas Kalapodas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Asier Guasch kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Odysseas Kalapodas was out of position in the 42 minute of play, and Rik Arnolds capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rik Arnolds really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Kokkinokhσrion BC's Vaggelis Traboukidis got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Vaggelis Traboukidis made the kick off in the second half. Zacharias Dimakos hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Ntinos Vourexakis hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Odysseas Mouratidis hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes of play, Kokkinokhσrion BC's Vaggelis Traboukidis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Odysseas Kalapodas was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 68 minutes, Vaggelis Traboukidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kokkinokhσrion BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaggelis Traboukidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Odysseas Kalapodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Traboukidis in the 71st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vaggelis Traboukidis in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Odysseas Kalapodas saved Elefthéri from getting behind. Odysseas Kalapodas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilias Mitrakis in the 75th minute of the match. In the 81st match minute, Kokkinokhσrion BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asier Guasch to maneuver through the defense. Odysseas Kalapodas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Traboukidis in the 90th minute of play. Odysseas Kalapodas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilias Mitrakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Elefthéri's goalkeeper Odysseas Kalapodas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Kokkinokhσrion BC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
