Nasos Tsipas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Dentsas in the 18th minute of play. Nasos Tsipas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodosis Karagounis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th match minute, Koskiniα FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sotiris Kapeliotis to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Koskiniα FC's goal looked a bit too open when Theodosis Karagounis came free, but Nasos Tsipas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Theodosis Karagounis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Nasos Tsipas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theodosis Karagounis got free with Nasos Tsipas in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Theodosis Karagounis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Theodosis Karagounis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nasos Tsipas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. When the match was over ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Koskiniα FC throughout the match.
