Panagiotis Vaggelis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Themistoklis Kounenakis went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Roϊson FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Themistoklis Kounenakis hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sakis Maistros to make the kick off. Fanis Charos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakis Maistros, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Notis Bikopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panagiotis Vaggelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themistoklis Kounenakis in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Bakaliarιοka BC's goalkeeper Panagiotis Vaggelis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aggelos Moraitidis. Panagiotis Vaggelis was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Giannis Vangelis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Giannis Vangelis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Fanis Charos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakis Maistros in the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of Bakaliarιοka BC booed when Roϊson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charis Velianitis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vassilis Roussopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sakis Maistros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fanis Charos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Roϊson FC's Charis Velianitis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Panagiotis Vaggelis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 81st minute, Vassilis Roussopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sakis Maistros might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fanis Charos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sakis Maistros ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Bakaliarιοka BC's Christos Triantis got a free kick in the 89th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Roϊson FC's zone, Vassilis Roussopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fanis Charos came out of the goal and Vassilis Roussopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aggelos Moraitidis got free with Panagiotis Vaggelis in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
