The audience was convinced that Achilleas Kottikas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filippos Kassanos was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Omorfokklisiá BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ψηλά Τακούνια the free kick. Kostas Thodis hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ψηλά Τακούνια defense, Kostas Thodis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stelios Bantrakos. The Ψηλά Τακούνια fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stelios Bantrakos should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Ψηλά Τακούνια getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nikolas Petridis hit a great ball. Elias Örnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the game, Omorfokklisiá BC's Dionysis Karathanasis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stelios Bantrakos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After the first half Omorfokklisiá BC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kostas Thodis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Konstantinos Kisemlis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Achilleas Kottikas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Filippos Kassanos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 played minutes, Ψηλά Τακούνια's Konstantinos Xiros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filippos Kassanos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ψηλά Τακούνια reached it. 57 minutes into the match, Alexandros Tsekouras notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Omorfokklisiá BC's Filippos Kassanos. Filippos Kassanos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 64th minute, Nikos Kozapalidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filippos Kassanos didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ψηλά Τακούνια's Achilleas Kottikas shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Ψηλά Τακούνια's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandros Tsekouras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Ψηλά Τακούνια defense, Dionysis Karathanasis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stelios Bantrakos. The Ψηλά Τακούνια fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stelios Bantrakos should have stopped the shot. In the 79th minute, Errikos Briakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Omorfokklisiá BC got a freekick which was hit by Anastasios Lazaris. Alexandros Tsekouras struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Filippos Kassanos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ψηλά Τακούνια. A collision led to Omorfokklisiá BC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Antonis Nanos hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 7-3 when Achilleas Kottikas sped through Omorfokklisiá BC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Filippos Kassanos. When the referee ended the match the Ψηλά Τακούνια players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
