In the 12th minute Giannis Koliopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paris Stelakoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustratios Manolios in the 15th minute of play forced Várpova's goalkeeper Evripidis Basinas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paris Stelakoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Koliopoulos in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giannis Koliopoulos in the 22nd minute of play forced LokiFire FC's goalkeeper Paris Stelakoglou to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nikitas Klotsidis hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Evripidis Basinas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustratios Manolios in the 25th minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Várpova's goalkeeper Evripidis Basinas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustratios Manolios. Thodoris Tziortzopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Evripidis Basinas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Thodoris Tziortzopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evripidis Basinas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustratios Manolios's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Loukianos Tamvakis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Várpova's Evripidis Basinas. Evripidis Basinas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thodoris Tziortzopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evripidis Basinas having to interfere. A collision led to LokiFire FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Loukianos Tamvakis hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thanos Barkoglou during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanos Barkoglou hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The supporters of LokiFire FC booed when Várpova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Koliopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Giannis Koliopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thodoris Tziortzopoulos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giannis Koliopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Loukianos Tamvakis struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Evripidis Basinas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LokiFire FC. Evripidis Basinas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustratios Manolios, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute Loukianos Tamvakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evripidis Basinas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loukianos Tamvakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giannis Koliopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. LokiFire FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustratios Manolios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evripidis Basinas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pavlos Tsourekas came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the LokiFire FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavlos Tsourekas couldn't finish the play. Evripidis Basinas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loukianos Tamvakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, LokiFire FC's goalkeeper Paris Stelakoglou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikitas Klotsidis. Giannis Koliopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nikitas Klotsidis hit a great ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Eustratios Manolios managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LokiFire FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustratios Manolios was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Theagenis Tsamaslidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pavlos Tsourekas in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evripidis Basinas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LokiFire FC had played much better football throughout.
