Sofoklis Diamantopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 22nd minute Anastasios Nestoratos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofoklis Diamantopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giannis Souanis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to ROCKNROLLA getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Thrasivoulos Kamelatos hit a great ball. When Anastasios Nestoratos came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Εθνικος FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anastasios Nestoratos couldn't finish the play. Prokopis Bernidakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vaggelis Portokaloglou having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Εθνικος FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prokopis Bernidakis came free, but Vaggelis Portokaloglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Εθνικος FC's Alexandros Agapidis got a free kick in the 38th minute. Prokopis Bernidakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vaggelis Portokaloglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prokopis Bernidakis struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Vaggelis Portokaloglou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROCKNROLLA. In the 44th minute, Nikos Mouratidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ROCKNROLLA's Sofoklis Diamantopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Souanis in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giannis Souanis to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Giannis Souanis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sofoklis Diamantopoulos. The goal made the score 0-2. When Prokopis Bernidakis came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the ROCKNROLLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prokopis Bernidakis couldn't finish the play. Εθνικος FC were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after ROCKNROLLA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ilias Kokolakis took the corner. After taking down the ball on Εθνικος FC's corner Ilias Kokolakis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sofoklis Diamantopoulos quite easily take care of the ball. After 71 played minutes Εθνικος FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexandros Agapidis. Vaggelis Portokaloglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prokopis Bernidakis in the 77th minute of play. Prokopis Bernidakis might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vaggelis Portokaloglou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prokopis Bernidakis ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Prokopis Bernidakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROCKNROLLA's supporters rose to their feet, but Prokopis Bernidakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vaggelis Portokaloglou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Prokopis Bernidakis came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the ROCKNROLLA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prokopis Bernidakis couldn't finish the play. Marios Vakirtzis charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marios Vakirtzis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Marios Vakirtzis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sofoklis Diamantopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgos Kavourmatzis in the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see ROCKNROLLA lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
