Takis Velis charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 5th minute Kosmas Baltsakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofoklis Diamantopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ROCKNROLLA's Sofoklis Diamantopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Notis Venieris in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, ROCKNROLLA's goal looked a bit too open when Notis Venieris came free, but Sofoklis Diamantopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Kosmas Baltsakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palaiokhσra FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ROCKNROLLA the free kick. Evaggelos Kopidakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Evaggelos Kopidakis came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Palaiokhσra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaggelos Kopidakis couldn't finish the play. Prokopis Bernidakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Pantelis Leontarakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 51stth minute of the game Notis Venieris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ROCKNROLLA's Sofoklis Diamantopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sofoklis Diamantopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kosmas Baltsakis in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Tasos Koublis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of ROCKNROLLA's Sofoklis Diamantopoulos. With an all-out effort, Palaiokhσra FC's Sofoklis Diamantopoulos threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Notis Venieris, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kosmas Baltsakis kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Menelaos Bougatsas's late challenge caught a Palaiokhσra FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Menelaos Bougatsas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Palaiokhσra FC booed when ROCKNROLLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Mouratidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofoklis Diamantopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Notis Venieris in the 98th minute of the match. The Palaiokhσra FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Palaiokhσra FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
