After 45 minutes, Akis Valassoglou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Strimonokhσri and the Lαnthion BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Akis Valassoglou kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 56th minute, Fondas Kouveliotis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Strimonokhσri's Akis Valassoglou took a good shot, in the 57th minute, which hit the crossbar above Zinon Georgiadis's head, and flew over the goal. Lαnthion BC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Strimonokhσri. Nikitas Kabotsis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vaios Kailas's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Odysseas Parafestas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikitas Kabotsis having to interfere. If Vaios Kailas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes of play, Strimonokhσri's Kostas Anastasis made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zinon Georgiadis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nikitas Kabotsis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Odysseas Parafestas went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.
