This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Christodoulos Karatsolis as he didn't even see the shot coming. Dimitris Giannitsas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christodoulos Karatsolis having to interfere. Christodoulos Karatsolis stood somewhat misplaced when Petros Prekkas came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 9 minute. Christodoulos Karatsolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petros Prekkas in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Stathis Vandis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anthimos Tsiartas skillfully saved the ball. Anthimos Tsiartas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinos Kontaxis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dimitris Giannitsas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Greveníta's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Prekkas came free, but Christodoulos Karatsolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthimos Tsiartas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstantinos Kontaxis, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Dimitris Giannitsas came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Savállia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Giannitsas couldn't finish the play. Greveníta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitris Giannitsas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Panos Ligouras's late challenge caught a Greveníta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panos Ligouras helped the player get up and apologised. Panos Ligouras hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Savállia FC's zone, Spyros Kedakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anthimos Tsiartas came out of the goal and Spyros Kedakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Anthimos Tsiartas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantinos Kontaxis in the 54th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Dimitris Giannitsas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christodoulos Karatsolis. Greveníta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dimitris Giannitsas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Konstantinos Kontaxis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthimos Tsiartas having to interfere. Dimitris Giannitsas scored 6-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christodoulos Karatsolis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Petros Prekkas notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Greveníta's Christodoulos Karatsolis. Christodoulos Karatsolis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Dimitris Giannitsas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dimitris Giannitsas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Greveníta getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Giannis Klidis hit a great ball. After 95 played minutes, Savállia FC's Sotiris Kroustallis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Christodoulos Karatsolis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Savállia FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Prekkas in the 99th minute of play forced Greveníta's goalkeeper Christodoulos Karatsolis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Savállia FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
