Spectators: 7608 (Terracing: 5707, Seating: 1750, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sotos Soulidis took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, A.O.Peukogiali's Vaios Trochanas got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Aggelos Theodosiou kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theofanis Bakalakos in the 12th minute of play forced Moirais FC's goalkeeper Sakis Blatsiotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 18 minutes, Charalambos Kostiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moirais FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charalambos Kostiadis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, A.O.Peukogiali's goalkeeper Archie Strickland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charalambos Kostiadis. Sotos Soulidis took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sakis Blatsiotis. Sakis Blatsiotis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Theagenis Nikolaou might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sakis Blatsiotis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theagenis Nikolaou ran back to his position shaking his head. Theofanis Bakalakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd match minute, Moirais FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theofanis Leontiou to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of A.O.Peukogiali booed when Moirais FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vrasidas Konstantinidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sotos Soulidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sakis Blatsiotis having to interfere. Sotos Soulidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sakis Blatsiotis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Moirais FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aggelos Theodosiou to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Zabal Cabanela managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.O.Peukogiali's supporters rose to their feet, but Zabal Cabanela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sakis Blatsiotis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vrasidas Konstantinidis to strike the kick off in the second half. If Sotos Soulidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Archie Strickland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vrasidas Konstantinidis in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Sotos Soulidis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sakis Blatsiotis, passed just outside the right post. Zabal Cabanela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sakis Blatsiotis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Moirais FC's zone, Theofanis Bakalakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sakis Blatsiotis came out of the goal and Theofanis Bakalakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vrasidas Konstantinidis in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Archie Strickland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 66th minute, Moirais FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Zabal Cabanela fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A.O.Peukogiali's Sotos Soulidis got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sakis Blatsiotis came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by A.O.Peukogiali's Sotos Soulidis. But to his dismay, Sotos Soulidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 73rdth minute of the game Sotos Soulidis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moirais FC's Sakis Blatsiotis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sakis Blatsiotis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sotos Soulidis in the 77th minute of play. If Charalambos Kostiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Sotos Soulidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sotos Soulidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zabal Cabanela struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Sakis Blatsiotis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.O.Peukogiali. Sotos Soulidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sakis Blatsiotis having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Moirais FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Savas Katsiaros to maneuver through the defense. A.O.Peukogiali's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
