Pavlos Stathis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themistoklis Aggelis in the 14th minute of play. When Kosmas Ipsilantis fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palaion Diasellon's protests and gave Kosmas Ipsilantis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C booed when Palaion Diasellon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kosmas Ipsilantis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grigoris Fragis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Makis Intzidis struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Pavlos Stathis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C. Adamantios Karamolegos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grigoris Fragis's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. The Palaion Diasellon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Makis Intzidis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 34th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Adamantios Karamolegos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Palaion Diasellon were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Adamantios Karamolegos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C's Makis Intzidis got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigoris Fragis in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adamantios Karamolegos saved KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C from getting behind. Grigoris Fragis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fotis Zisimatos fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Palaion Diasellon:s goal. In the 99th minute there was a penalty for Palaion Diasellon. Vassilis Farmakidis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adamantios Karamolegos. 0-4. When the match was over Palaion Diasellon could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KRITIKOBAZELOS.F.C throughout the match.
