Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giannis Spyrou in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexis Katsalis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Giannis Spyrou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The pansolomiakos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Markos Lyberogiannis couldn't finish the play. Alketas Kostakos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loukas Goumas having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, pansolomiakos's goalkeeper Loukas Goumas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alketas Kostakos. Markos Lyberogiannis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Loukas Goumas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
