The Vakoϊfi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Royal Eagles's zone, Christos Stravelakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Symeonidis came out of the goal and Christos Stravelakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Christos Stravelakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Symeonidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 played minutes Royal Eagles got a freekick which was hit by Grigoris Akrivakos. Dimitris Symeonidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Errikos Kapareliotis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christos Stravelakis in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimitris Symeonidis saved Royal Eagles from getting behind. Vakoϊfi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
